50Hz are an established London band with a recently released album and years of gigging experience to their name.  Championed by Steve Lamacq and featured heavily on Ewan McGregor's "Long Way Round" TV show, they are about to release a 'double A side' single and are in preparation for a UK tour. 


 


This video was shot in the streets and clubs of Brixton in 2001 by Perpetual Motion Productions and has been used for promotional purposes many times since.

This is a good example of a story music-video, using actors to play out scenes inspired by the music and lyrics.  The band members make cameos as guys in the club.  Mixing live action scenes and footage of the band playing can be a cost effective and engaging way of creating an entertaining music video.
